THE STORY OF BARE NAKED WAX
Founded by me, Charlie, in my kitchen in the heart of Derbyshire, England.
For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with candles. The way they look, the different scents, the various wicks. They have fascinated me for a long time and I have always spent a lot of money buying candles from large brands.
Over the past few years I have really been trying to be more conscious about certain things such as; the products I use, the impact on the environment and the ethics of the companies I buy from.
One day I was sat looking at candles online and suddenly the idea hit me. I have always been very crafty and love creating things. Why didn't I make my very own candles? That way I knew exactly what products and ingredients were being used because I was choosing!
I spent many hours in the kitchen. I tried multiple types of wax, lots of wicks, so many scents and eventually, after many split moulds and wax disasters along the way, I found my perfect designs. I then decided to share them with you beautiful people...
And Bare was born!
